Started a cool December 2018 challenge that has an awesome backstory…

Saturday morning before our run, I was catching up on FB. Social media isn’t huge in my life these days but had a couple minutes before hitting the pavement.

In September we had an awesome trip to Greece to help crew for Eldest as he ran from Athens to Sparta in Spartathalon. An intense, motivating, humbling experience. Wow. Along the way, because life has many tests on the way to the finish, we had car troubles with our hybrid Toyota rental car and three English angels helped me to support eldest while Porter took care of our stuff and the logistics of driving off at the finish.

Gill was one of those angels, now a FB friend. She shared starting a December run challenge, Marcothon 2018, running at least 3 miles or 25 minutes every day in December.

It looked doable and a cool way to connect. Why not?

So I’m in… Porter too.
