It’s been an unusually warm spring in our piece of the world. I’m embarrassed to admit that my treadmill is still getting a workout a couple days a week and that I’ve not ventured out to hit the pavement. All things in due time!
The couch to 5K is going well. A couple repeat days have me feeling good (you can hear those knocks on wood) so far. While the program is great, there are just days that either I can’t get my head around the next step or the body can’t get there. No worries… The end goal is to keep running, keep active,
keep regain some semblance of that skinny girl who once was me.
The message today is that with about 3 weeks to go, it’s been a good program. Keeping the goal in mind has made it doable. On those tough days we all have, be gentle with yourself. Do what’s doable. The next time will be easier, the next hurdle will be easier.
