In one of the after Christmas sales, I got a great deal on a Kindle Fire at Best Buy.
We went to just pick up a basic Kindle so I could read my eBooks without dragging my computer everywhere… I really wanted a Kindle Fire… It was an open box deal with another $25 off. The Fire was a couple $ more than the basic, such a deal I couldn’t resist!
Our library system loans Kindle e-books. It’s great! You go online and reserve (there’s usually a waiting list) or take out the book. It magically appears on your Kindle. Fantastic.
It is wonderful. They have a great selection. I just have to work on the timing. My reading list is pretty long (isn’t it always) and the eBooks are lent for either 7 or 14 days, no renews here. There have been a couple that, once started didn’t get finished. So I’m back on the list. We’ll try to work on the timing…
What have your experiences been with trying the library?
