Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on Thankfulness.
They’ve done a multitude of studies that show an attitude of gratitude or thankfulness is uplifting and beneficial (the list of tangible benefits is too long to elaborate).
What do you think?
Personally, I agree. It can be as simple as it’s easy to be around someone with a good, positive attitude to as complex as the power of using your subconscious to achieve your conscious goals/thoughts/dreams. Being thankful or showing gratitude puts your head in a “positive” place. A place where it is easier to achieve your goals, a place where it’s more fun to be around you. Maybe it gets rid of some of the garbage so many of us get bogged down in.
I started this section of the blog in part as a test. Does it work? Can it really make a difference to elaborate some of the things we may take for granted?
Yes. Yes. Yes.
Give it a try! It can help to get out of yourself and your day-to-day. In my case to stop dwelling on little aches and pulls from running, nagging work issues and sometime just silliness that can fill minutes of the day.
Today I am thankful for my family and our friends. For the people who show up and who make our life livable, fun and yes sometimes challenging!
What are you Thankful for today?
