This Friday, I’m especially thankful for…

• The bounty of a late summer garden. We have a very small garden, the peppers & tomatoes are abundant (& yummy) this year!
• Our family. This weekend we have the first of our son’s friend’s weddings. A fantastic couple who we love and wish all the best that life brings. OK, I’ll fess up that I can’t wait!
• Medical science. A family member is undergoing an organ transplant today. It is amazing that they can take from the mom and give to the young adult child. Shower rambling had me thinking of 3-d organ printing this morning.

We are truly blessed. Yes, sometimes there are bumps in the road but that’s what makes the smooth times sweeter!
