I love Fridays! For as long as I can remember, there is this feeling of accomplishment that comes with waking up on a Friday. Being able to look at a to-do list with some things crossed off, some new things added is a great feeling for me.
After posting yesterday, I went and joined the local fitness center, did a Zumba class and went for a swim. Came home and had a great dinner: grilled chicken thighs, pineapple and a nice green salad. Yea!!
Tying hard to keep with it, and having success.
All this exercise is having a distinct impact on my life. My body just feels better and is starting to look better. While the weight isn’t peeling off, I can feel and see the new muscles. Which gives rise to the relief I feel not having gained any weight. It’s working, it’s working!! It always surprises me that using my body puts my head in a great place… which impacts EVERYTHING else. Love it…
Here’s to keeping focused and on track. To knowing that when I get off track (& we all do) that it’s about getting right back on the horse, knowing when to reach for motivation and when to celebrate the successes.
