This week I’m thankful for down time.
Right, a little hokey maybe, but sincere. Sometimes I loose track of things. We all do sometimes. Relaxation, down time helps me get things back in focus. Get priorities aligned. Let my mind wander. Get off the normal route, stresses, burdens, blocks.
Do you ever get blocked? I know I do sometimes. Something gets in the way, blocks my ability to get where I want to go. Down time helps me to get over the block most times. Helps me to see the block.. and what I need to do to get over it. Maybe it’s just to take the time to see things from a different perspective. A life skill. It’s one reason I love to travel. See new things or old things in a different light. It used to be the only way we could have down time.
We were lucky to have some downtime this past week. OK the weather gave me a down day because our plans changed. Everything happens for a reason. Got the message, I needed some down time… and took it.
