This Friday, I’m thankful for Spring! It’s finally sprung…
This winter has been cold and snowy. We live in the northeast and winters are… cold and snowy. I know, I know.
To get through January & February, we returned to skiing after our youngest left for college a few years ago. It’s a bright spot in the dark. And it keeps us from hibernating.
Spring seems late this year. Yes, it’s the same on the calendar but the weather is what makes it…
The longer, warmer days. The neighborhood emerging from hibernation. The new buds on the trees and emerging from the ground.
Visits to the garden center, comfortable runs outside, and then there is the smell.
There’s a smell that Spring brings; it’s fresh, a renewal, a new start. Time to throw open the windows!
TGIF – I’m thankful for Spring today!
What are you thankful for today?
