Training this week was better. Highest mileage week of ~15 miles and consistent. Felt pretty good! No skiing this week – too windy this weekend to waste a ski to be in the lodge.

A nice 3 miles at a faster pace today. Felt OK.
Busy week, glad to put this one on the books.
An easy 5 miles today. Slower worked much better and I didn’t really feel it Sunday morning. Was a little concerned that 5 miles Sat would impact 5K goal. Didn’t seem to.
Whoo Hoot! Beat my goal of a 29 minute 5K. It was cold – about 10 degrees and parts of the road were snow covered. Thankfully it wasn’t snowing. It seemed like a harder run and I missed the miles markers. Very hard to gauge my speed and time with no markers. Next time I need to get the route before hand to find them. It really makes a difference to know how I’m doing against plan. It’s always better to run in the cold with a group… Sorry, sharing the pain makes it workable!
