After Tuesday, my knees felt a bit tight. Maybe a little dehydrated today?
On Thursday, the run was harder than I expected. This head cold has morphed into a sinus infection. Actually thought I kicked it but after a lull came back full steam on Wednesday. A little more neti pot and water should wrap this up!
I’m feeling great so far. Because my mantra has been… well I’m running today[tomorrow/yesterday]… this [yummy item I’ve been avoiding] looks good… go for it. Well, my weight hasn’t shifted and I need to pay more attention to nutrition after the holidays. But… I’ve got abs again. Whoo Hoot :). I know, it’s the little things. But really, this is huge for me and here’s why… For me it feels good to be fit (thank you Mrs. Obvious :)). Coming from a place of fit, it really has an impact. Getting back to it has really made a difference not just n my body but on my attitude. Love it.
Saturday was a lousy day here. Freezing rain. With the head cold hovering and moving south, opted for another treadmill day. I know should have been outside. Porter ran outside and came back soaked. Really need the miles outside just need to be healthy more. This cold (that I though I had licked) is just hovering. It’s slowly moving south and I feel lousy. The run today was good. The tea tree steam and shower afterward had me feeling better.
Sunday decided to kick the cold and skip the run. Lots of neti pot, etc. Took the time to take a couple naps between holiday prep. Younger son arrived from college… whoo hoot! Will take care to be ready for 4 miles on Tuesday!
Overall, not a bad week. Not quite what I wanted but feeling good!
