Took some time off… because we had a full house. Our youngest son is home for the summer following his freshman year at college. Our eldest came for a visit between exams and starting his summer internship.

It was a fantastic weekend, of course it was. It was just good to have everyone together, under one roof. Never matters where, just to reconnect, catch up, regenerate, revive. The power of family. A support system. People who build you up… And who hopefully don’t pull you down. People who define what is acceptable, what is reachable and how we accept and reach. People who teach you that you will disagree but it’s how you deal with it, that you won’t always like something, but it’s more about the dealing. The power of family. Whether biological or a family of choice. It’s about having a support system.
