We’re getting back in the groove.
The done with the holidays, normal life groove.
There are some people who workout as just a normal part of their life. I’m not exactly that person. It requires thought, planning and a goal. In the past, that goal was pretty superficial and a lot about my closet. Having my clothes fit, or fit better. 🙂 As I thought of this post, gave myself a little pat on the back. Actually now it’s not about the clothes but rather about the feeling. There’s a feeling to being any amount of fit. I love that feeling and the impact it has on the rest of my life. Firm=happy. sweating=endorphins=bliss. Are you like that?
It doesn’t matter what gets you moving, it’s the moving that counts. Whoo hoot! We’ll return to Monday training updates. Come back Monday to see how we started our post-holiday back in the groove week…
In the meantime, the plan is for a 6 week 10K training program and then roll into another half training program. Trying to run 3 days per week, cross 3 days and one day off. We’ll see if three runs is enough to train for a half injury free. Along the way, we’ll try to continue running an organized run each month.
How’s your training/resolution/fitness commitment going?
