There has been much ado made about the value that giving yourself the freedom to take a day off and to relax. We’ve tried it, now live it and actually we may do it too often. That’s ok, it seems to be working.
This lets me enjoy some of the treats I would restrict myself from, mostly it lets me enjoy time out with family and friends. Planning it really helps and gives me something to look forward to. It lets me feel that while I’m making good changes, they aren’t so restrictive that I feel bad about it.
Try giving yourself a reward for your hard work in the form of a day with less restrictions. (Just remember that moderation in all things is good – even that day off.)
