Yup, this post is really classified under Health, Tips & Weight Loss. Really.
Each day is full of choices. To meet my goal of getting stronger & fitter, it’s not about a gym membership, it’s about everyday things we can do to get healthier.
We’re almost wrapped on the landscaping we started. What I view as the hardest part we’ll tackle next weekend. Saving the best for last… no just using the long weekend for some time off and to soften the blow… 🙂 Those pesky stones. More work up front but no maintenance. Beats slugging mulch every spring.
This past weekend, while my better half was whooping it up at the National Homebrew Convention in Philly, I tended to the teak.
After a couple mile run, the new teak chairs we found at Sam’s Club for the front porch were calling. We picked them up a couple weeks ago, it took some time to decide whether to oil them or to let them gray over time. Well, the oil won out and after a couple hours of work, you can see the results above.
Love the Teak!
It’s amazing the exercise you get, yes from oiling teak chairs. Right… the run didn’t hurt.
Rather than sitting behind a computer or in front of a tv, the goal is to keep moving. …Especially when when I don’t feel like it.
It’s making a difference in how I feel… and look. Down 5 pounds over the past month.
The house is definitely spiffing too!
