Do you exercise?
I try, but usually only make it a couple times a week. Stretching, hand weights and cardio. Working back into running too.
I can feel it – both on and off – in my body AND in my brain. The body is obvious, the brain less so.
Exercising feeds my brain, my mood, my energy. When I work out tackling hard problems is a snap, my cup is half-full and overfloweth through the day. There are piles of research to support this, but I can attest that without my workout, life is gray. It has always been that way, not sure when I began paying attention. It doesn’t even have to be much – just something makes the difference.
Do you think it would make a difference if along with those anti-depressants, doctors prescribed yoga, pilates or a walk around the block? I do.
Bring some sunshine to your day… Walk around the block!
