What a nice weekend. Not too busy, with a few things on our list. Dad’s day was quiet, yet a very nice day.
I have to say that I am increasingly perplexed about my weight. There are good days where I am up the next morning and then bad days where I’m down. Perplexed!
Exercise
This weekend was an OK one for exercise. Have found a couple training plans that I’ll tailor and work towards a 10K this fall. Still am questioning my wisdom signing up for the Dirty Girl Mud Run. That will be nuts! Good reason to train and will be a fun event and even more so to be on the other side of.
OK, so walked on Friday, ran 3m Sat morning, Sunday was a lazy day only ran 1m(celebrating Father’s Day :)). Today will be a day off so will stretch and do arm weights.
Diet
Kind of blew it this weekend. We had a lot of fun, and ate out… every single day. That is not good! Well, it WAS good but didn’t help to move forward our goals. Expected to be up this morning but was down to 156.5. Yesterday we were on the run so grabbed Anderson’s roast beef sandwiches for lunch then a wonderful dinner (steak/salad/fresh peas/potatoes). On Saturday we rode out to the country for strawberries – dessert last night. Stopped at the Waterstreet Landing, they have a fantastic patio on the lower Niagara. Just nice. Which led to a few beers and a snack. I would highly recommend the portobella wrap… it was fantastic!
Here’s where I’m at… yo-yo. Will try today to make good choices. CPR & First Aid class tonight so will be an active eve.
